Overnight Décolleté Fluid with LunaRose™
Sleeping Beauty showed us how it's done. Numerous lifestyle guides with titles such as “Beautiful while you sleep,” “Fit while you sleep,” and “Smart while you sleep” have supported this trend for years. Our sleep is valuable and should not be wasted.
Adults should aim for 7–9 hours of healthy sleep. This gives the skin enough time to regenerate. Especially in the summer, when the nights are shorter and warmer, our skin can really use this support.
I developed the “Overnight Décolleté Fluid with LunaRose™” especially for these warm, short summer nights. It is a light, liquid care fluid that is non-occlusive despite its natural oils. This allows the skin to breathe and prevents heat buildup, which can cause small, unsightly pimples.
Have I sparked your interest in this formulation? Here is the “how-to-formulate” guide.
You should allow a little more time for the water phase (A). Except for Luxamul®, all raw materials can be combined and stirred for approx. 60 minutes. Once the solution is clear, the Luxamul® can be added while stirring.
Now the oil phase can be slowly heated to 60°C and stirred until all ingredients are dissolved. Then, add the oil phase to the water phase while homogenizing. Continue homogenizing until a liquid emulsion has formed.
Now cool down! Once the fluid has cooled to below 40°C, the LunaRose™ and color pigments can be distributed over the surface and mixed in evenly.
It is also possible to disperse the color pigments in advance in the warm oil phase to produce homogeneous fluid. Depending on the manufacturing process, this is a good idea, but not essential.
At temperatures below 30°C, the perfume can be added and the pH value should be checked. If necessary, the pH needs to be adjusted with citric acid solution or sodium hydroxide solution.
There you have it: “Overnight Décolleté Fluid with LunaRose™” is ready to use.
Do you have another product idea using our new active ingredient, or do you have questions about formulating it? If so, then I recommend our LunaRose™ Formulation Guideline.
