PinoPlex™ is derived from pine cones that are hand-collected in exceptional and carefully selected French forests. The pine cones from the Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris) are handpicked from the trees before they fall to the ground so that the seeds can be obtained. After harvesting the seeds, the lignified brown pine cones are considered waste products and are usually discarded.
